yes, it’s been a mere 6 wks plus since i was delirious from fever but tat was the turning point for mi and things haf juz happened since
while time was creeping past so slowly during the waiting, nw things seem to haf happened so quickly it feels like things r happening on their own. events r juz unfolding and i m swept along once i made up my mind

tis yr for durians so the prices r real low
kiddos n i haf been to geylang to feast on $1 and $2 durians
the $2 ones r of not bad quality
so lucky the bumper crop is pushing prices dwn so i can afford to eat more durians
tis is one of few items not affected by inflation yet and has its price set freely by mkt forces of supply and demand
is a upmkt durian cafe, opp still rd crabs. yes, it used to b a malay kopitiam
they haf the usual outdoors tables and seats outside but they oso haf nice cool air-conditioned seating indoors
i went there wif the rec club and got my fill of D24 and 猫山王 for 10 bucks
they served coconut wif the durians which i find a tab weird
after the durians, the coconut was tasteless
and i grabbed a husk for washing hands…not onli mi auntie and do tat hor, other ppl oso do tat !certainly beats using hand soap!
i tink it’ll b even nicer if we get to drink salt water out of durian husks which is wat i teach my kiddos at home

i can see the sky turning dark by the minute from my window seat…scary!
OMG! as i type tis, within 5 mins, heavy downpour outside!! windows all blurred
in another 10 mins, 雨过天晴! 大地经过大雨的洗礼, 显得焕然一新 !
and it was scorching hot in the afternoon
sat was even worse, i was outside and felt like i was burning up in the heat
we finished all the water we brought and had a nice icy cold grass jelly each. tat was when i finally managed to cool down and cool off

i luv how the lalang looks, swaying in the breeze on a sunny day

been a while since the gang gathered and haf a meal tog.
we had an impromptu dinner last nite but tonite’s turnout is great
so good to catch up wif old frens. it sounds simple enuff to gather for a meal but considering everyone’s commitment for work and family, it’s reli a huge effort
and glad tat all of us r willing to mit somewhere convenient for ah mun
wif so many babies in the group (ok, onli 2 but still, it’s the most we had so far), good to see the bbs’ growth and get a chance to cuddle them abit
i luv little bbs, totally irresistable at tis stage
r there reli soulmates?

but i dun believe in spending too much in seeking them
coz there muz b some element of fate too
if u haf to try too hard for anything, it probably wasn’t meant to b
the top coat’s great. my nails lasted almost a wk & i totally didn’t take care of them
on to olive green for tis wk…hehe
i luv vampy colors, the darker and more or-bit, the better
tis was from a pre-viet training session

mi finally finished mine after abt 6 mths but i haben got a replacement coz i’m using my old fav, the surface optimising cream from aramis which oso last mi for abt 1 yr, another super value for $ product which i luv but stopped using coz i dun wana layer too much cream on my face which oredi shines at mid day
was toking to joc and she swears by olay total effects too
wow! seems tat olay total effect is the modern day hazeline snow of a yester generation
for the record, YY started using lavender hand cream post vietam when he discovered it from LJ so i passed him my crabtree one tat i can’t use for my sweaty palms
and i got QQ an almond one tat smells absolutely delicious to mi
i m no hand cream except when i’m in office den i may use my ice hand gel occassionally
i m however, m absolute believer in foot cream. tat’s something i cannot live wifout
and i haf more dry skin den rough skin on my feet
duno y but i nbr enjoyed watching her act
so i m so not looking forward to the new 9pm show
guess it’s good coz YY can stardee during tis hr
on sun, tis is so scary!
didn’t even haf enuff shower cubicles, tink i should stick to the more remote pools
we used to travel quite far to swim so tat we can beat the crowd
