The 11th Husband….

30 10 2007

monday humour from HJ

A young man married a beautiful woman who had previously divorced 10 husbands. On their wedding night, she told her new husband to ‘Please be gentle; I’m still a virgin’.

‘What?’ said the puzzled groom. ‘How can that be if you’ve been married ten times.?’

‘Well, husband#1 was a Sales Representative; he kept telling me how great it was going to be.

‘Husband # 2 was in Software Services; he was never really sure how it was suppose to function; but he said he’d look into it and get back with me.

‘Husband # 3 was from Field Services; he said that everything checked out diagnostically but he just couldn’t get the system up.

‘Husband # 4 was in Telemarketing; even though he knew he had the order, he didn’t know when he would be able to deliver.

‘Husband # 5 was an Engineer, he understood the basic process but he wanted three years to research, implement, and design a new state of the-art method.

‘Husband #6 was from Administration; he thought he knew how but he wasn’t sure whether it was his job or not.

‘Husband # 7 was in Marketing; although he had a product, he was never sure how to position it.

‘Husband # 8 was a Psychiatrist; all he did was talk about it.

‘Husband # 9 was a Gynecologist; all he did was look at it.

‘Husband # 10 was a Stamp Collector; all he ever did was…….. God I miss him.

‘ But now that I’ve married you, I’m so excited’.

‘Wonderful’, said the husband, ‘but why?

‘Your’re with the ‘GOVERNMENT’..
This time I KNOW I’M gonna get
SCREWED.’

Cleaning: Outside and In

28 10 2007

tis is probably a sign tat i should continue my spring cleaning, reli need to clear out my wardrobe.  so many clothes tat i dun wear anymore!  decluttering time
When you feel upset, discouraged or out of control, do you feel the desire to clean?

There’s a deep connection between our personal environment and our innermost selves.

Our senses reach deep, and those same senses also feel our surroundings. So is it possible that by shifting the arrangement of our belongings we can re-arrange the molecules of our emotional lives as well?

When our homes become cluttered and disordered, other aspects of our lives also tend to feel stuck. A cluttered home reflects a distracted and cluttered mind, and it also makes it hard to focus and think clearly. It gets easier to put on hold decisions that could put you back in control of your life. Eventually, we give up. The task seems overwhelming, and the clutter is so pervasive that we can’t decide where to begin.

Clutter saps your energy and erodes your spirit. Clutter makes it difficult to get things done, enjoy peace and quiet, or spend time the way you really want to. It adds to your stress, slows you down and drains your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual strength. Clutter makes you lose your focus, and that makes you lose your confidence and power as well.

On an energetic level, all this stuff is preventing a clear vision of self. Anything that is neglected, unwanted, or unappealing to you will drag your energy down every time you look at it. Even a beautiful object of great value does nothing for you or your home if you don’t like it. So if you don’t love it, get it out of sight.

Look around you. If you could only choose ten items to live with for the rest of your life, what would they be? When you’re considering this question, ask yourself – What do they really do for you? Do they empower you? Are they motivating you to improve yourself?
Everything that surrounds you should be working for you in some way. If the things in your space are not supporting you and contributing to the positive quality of your life, it is time to do something about it!
The defeat, fatigue, and depression that you feel when you think about your clutter will start to evaporate as soon as you put yourself in action. The hard part is getting started, but once you do the magic will begin.

Clutter-clearing creates space for us to discover our true path in life and to define who we want to become. With this new vision we can consciously choose to surround ourselves with objects and imagery that reflect and support our authentic concept of self.

third rock from the sun

28 10 2007

is earth of course!

In order of their distances from the Sun, the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

This is something i learnt in pri skool to help mi remember the positions of the planets in the solar system

My Mercury
Very Venus
Educated Earth
Mother Mars
Just Jupiter
Served Saturn
Us Uranus
Nine Neptune

Pizzas-Pluto became a dwarf planet

3rd Rock from the Sun is an Emmy Award-winning American sitcom that ran from 1996 until 2001 on NBC. The show was about a group of extraterrestrial scientists on an expedition of what they considered to be the least important planet, Earth (the “3rd Rock” from the Sun), posing as a “family” of four to observe human beings, while pretending (usually awkwardly) to be humans.

now i begin to suspect my friends who quickly pointed out tat third rock from the sun means the aliens r FROM third rock from the sun, didn’t actualli watch the sitcom!

27 10 2007

午后,天气晴。
心情,复杂。

miracle potion

26 10 2007

tis is from an article i read in Junior N U.

mi beli tempted to try!

tomato juice topped wif 3 drops of lime.
apply & wash after 15 mins
miracle potion tames oil glands and shrink gaping pores.

wah!  can reli shrink pores meh??

old clothes

26 10 2007

mi decided to start clearing out my wardrobe slowly by picking up at least one item for the garang guni everyday

i even dumped some of QQ & YY’s very worn looking clothes into the same recycling bag

to my astonishment, QQ is wearing something i placed in the bag tdy!

and she asked mi y i put her clothes into the trashbag for garang guni man, faint!

mum claimed tat it’s her fav set of sleeping/home clothes

sigh, i throw away but grandma & grandchild retrieve

dove bar soap

26 10 2007

when QQ had the itch, i took out an old bar of dove soap and used tat on her

it’s horrible!  beli drying on the skin and i hate bar soapy tat becomes totally soft when wet.  which is exactly wat happens wif dove bar soap

no wonder dad used to buy imperial leather…so much better!

anyway, i decided to clear stock and use the remaining 5 bars of dove soap

at the rate, the bar soap is disintegrating, it shouldn’t take mi too long

part of being green is reducing demand for consumer goods
so, i always feel tat it’s green for me to clear stock and use the 101 toiletries i haf instead of keep buying new ones.

As I mature

26 10 2007

i oredi forwarded HQ’s email but i tink tis article is so funny.

As I Mature

I’ve learnt that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I’ve learnt that no matter how much I care,
some people are just assholes.

I’ve learnt that it takes years to build trust,
and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I’ve learnt that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you’d better have a big willy or huge boobs.

I’ve learnt that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others.
They are more screwed up than you think.

I’ve learnt that you can keep vomiting long after you think you’ve finished.

I’ve learnt that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.

I’ve learnt that regardless of how hot & steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place!

I’ve learnt that 99% of the time when something isn’t working in your house,
one of your kids did it.

I’ve learnt that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon
and all the less important ones just never go away.

Ouch!

25 10 2007

YY complained tat he’s tired but can’t sleep so he wants to do his homework

but the min he laid dwn on the sofa, he fell asleep

he slept for abt half an hr before he suddenly turned in his sleep and the next thing i knew, he has fallen off the sofa, onto the floor….OUCH!

Dealing With Negativity

25 10 2007

i agree wif the part abt being selective abt the ppl u hang out wif.  incidentally, the topic over the past few days has been abt stubborn people who dun see reason.

arguing/reasoning wif them is sometimes, a complete waste of time.

and negative people r juz too high maintenance!   mi got no time to console people hoo refuses to b cheered up
Our lives these days are filled with negativity – terrorism, disease, natural disasters, war. The messages we receive on a daily basis mostly aim to induce a feeling of dissatisfaction, envy or fear. As life gets more stressful, we encounter more negativity from our family, friends and co-workers.

How we deal with this information is up to us. We can either absorb it all and allow it to negatively dominate our thoughts, emotions, attitudes and our day-to-day lives. Or we can view these events as an unfortunate but unavoidable part of our existence and concentrate on those things we can do something about – such as our own personal lives and how we can positively influence ourselves and those around us.

The more we focus on the “bad” or negative things around us, the more our thoughts and behaviour work towards an undesirable outcome. But if we change our focus to the good things of life – the positives – there is an above average chance that things will get much better. Negatives fill our emotional bucket quickly and before we know it, they are spilling all over ourselves and those around us. Isn’t it far more logical to fill our bucket with positives? The people around us are sure to be much more receptive to any spillage the might occur.

If your optimism is taking a beating, try saving some time for yourself and writing down the good things in your life – the things you enjoy and appreciate. Start with the fact that you even woke up this morning, then go from there. No matter how bad your situation is, if you try just a little you’ll have plenty of items on our list. Keep the list handy and add to it as you think of other things. There will always be days when your list will come in handy to give you a pick-me-up.

Be selective about what you read, watch on TV, hear on the radio and the music you listen to. Think about the information your mind is absorbing and determine whether it’s really good for you. Be selective with your friends and pay attention to the conversations you are having. Is the relationship – or the conversation – based on negative words and feelings? Would you be better off changing the subject – or finding someone different to spend your time with?

And watch your “self talk”. This is the imaginary conversations we have with ourselves and others, especially when there are potential conflicts on the horizon. Stop “badmouthing” the people in your life and stop “badmouthing” yourself! Every time we do that, we are reinforcing to ourselves just how miserable the world is and how unfortunate we are.

The Pencil

25 10 2007

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

“There are 5 things you need to know”, he told the pencil, “before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and you will become the best pencil you can be.

ONE: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone’s hand.
TWO: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you’ll need it to become a better pencil.
THREE: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.
FOUR: The most important part of you will always be what’s inside.
AND FIVE: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart. The parable of the pencil imparts great wisdom in the way we human beings live our lives as well.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.

We are just like the pencil, who can make a difference in our lives and in the lives of the people around us. Don’t ever underestimate what you have the power to do!

Create Your Own Perfect Morning

22 10 2007

easier said den done, especially for a late riser like myself

but i realise the part abt alarm sometime back.  i find myself waking up in a fluster when my alarm music is too loud and abrupt.   so i usualli go for more soothing and softer alarm music.  the last thing i need is to b rudely jostled out of sleep

Most of us start the day as if we were trying to catch a plane. We wake up, hurry through a shower, grab a cup of coffee, skim through the first few pages of the paper, then rush out of the house. After that, it’s meetings, deadlines, packet lunches, bottomlines.

Even after we leave the office, our responsibilities and obligations don’t seem to end; for many of us, we only get to take a breath just before we fall asleep and even then, it’s not restful sleep.

Many of us repeat this routine almost every day. It’s like we’ve entered autopilot mode and we don’t even wonder why we do what we do anymore.

Somewhere along the way, we forgot that there is no plane to catch.

You are the plane, you are the pilot. But are you flying intentionally or mindlessly following flight paths? Are you mapping out the route to your desired destination or are you simply plying the same route back and forth?

For many of us, our lives feel like they’re going somewhere. But are they? Where? What if you realised you could make changes that will make your life more enjoyable, more successful and more fulfilling?

How can we assume more control over our lives and where they’re headed, instead of always rushing to some point because we feel we should or because we’ve been told to?

It all begins with creating your perfect morning. This is your morning, no one else’s. A harmonious and reflective start does wonders for the rest of the day. So instead of rushing, wake up half an hour earlier. Wake up gently to soft music, or an alarm clock that produces a gradually-accelerating tone.

Then before doing anything else take 10-15 minutes and sit silently thinking about all you’re grateful for. Then start to wonder what the highlight of your day could be. As you leave your house and begin the flow of your day, you look at each experience and wonder if this is going to be the highpoint of your day, knowing there is more to come.

Starting the day this way, that is, gently, introspectively, and on your own terms, increases your energy and efficiency throughout the day. When you leave your house centred and focused, there is a much greater likelihood that you can maintain this balance throughout the day. Begin the day on your own terms and discover the dramatic changes that are possible.

22 10 2007

i m onli postin abt fri’s outing nw coz mi was super shacked on fri and concuss-ed at 9 plus

Ans : finding our way to connaught drive from the esplanade carpark

Are You Working Yourself to Death?

21 10 2007

wow!  many co-workers in the office come to mind….ppl, do take ur leave!

no need to go on sabbatical leave lah…though how i wish we asians can do tat too

of course we can lah, but we too scared and kiasu to put dwn all our commitments and creature comforts to do something we can remember for the rest of our lives.  SIGH!

luckily mi got travel pals for my highlands visit, m’sia trips wif karen, marie for HK and LJ for other destinations.

i guess having kiddos make a diff too coz i always want to bring them overseas both as a treat and for educational reasons.  i strongly believe tat 读万卷书不如行万里路。

In 2005, Americans threw away an estimated 415 million vacation days. That’s 1.6 million years of unused vacation! Have we lost our minds? Chronic stress and overcommitment to work have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, and mortality. Yep, not taking a vacation will make your RealAge older. Much older.

Whatever your excuse for not taking a break—your job can’t live without you, you can’t afford the expense, there simply aren’t enough days in the year—toss them out the window.

The truth is you’re not doing anyone any favors by not taking time off. Not your family. Not your employer. And definitely not yourself. Research suggests that reducing stress and taking regular vacations—once or twice a year—may be as vital to your emotional and physical well-being as exercise or a healthful diet. And the benefits don’t stop there. Vacations seem to have a positive impact on families and organizations as well.

People who take frequent vacations:

  • Are less likely to be depressed, tense or tired
  • Have a reduced risk of heart disease and all-cause mortality
  • Tend to spend more time with their spouse and children and are more satisfied with their marriages
  • Report being more interested and more productive in their work when they return from time off

So change your mindset. Stop thinking of vacation as a luxury you can live without and start thinking of it as a healthy habit. Let’s face it: making time off a regular recuperative part of your life is probably the easiest lifestyle change you’ll ever make.

Sick Leave: It’s Good for Your Heart

21 10 2007

i am totally guilty of tis coz i believe tat colds and coughs and fevers hinders my work so i’ll juz take medication…and i usually self medicate using natural stuff

Do you slog into work even when you’re sick and stressed out? For your heart’s sake, stay home.

Reporting to work sick — especially if you’re not the picture of health to begin with (for example, you’re too heavy or you have high blood pressure or diabetes) — can put a strain on heart health. Here’s why you need to curl up in bed and call it a day

Sick-Day Logic
Top three reasons to call in sick when you’re under the weather? One: Extra rest helps you recover. Two: Your coworkers don’t want what you have. Three: No deadline, expense report, or presentation is worth upping your risk of a heart attack. A what? That’s right. Researchers found that overweight, hypertensive, or otherwise unhealthy people who came to work sick had higher rates of heart attack than their call-it-in peers. Scary stuff.

It’s Just the Sniffles . . .
Researchers aren’t sure why working sick ups heart attack risk. It could be that the people who toughed it out were also more likely to ignore (read fail to get treatment for) other signs of health trouble — like chest pain or trouble breathing.

10 Reasons to Hop to It

21 10 2007

i can’t find my skipping rope!  time to get one for myself and one for YY.
exercising together is certainly quality time
YY luvs to go for walks…we onli walk to the mkt or white sands lah

Jumping rope. Some of us haven’t done it since schoolyard days.

But here are the top 10 reasons you should jump rope like you did in third grade — besides the fact that it will make you feel like a kid again

Top 10 Reasons to Jump Rope
Do it to warm up. Do it to cool down. Or make a whole workout of it. Just do it.

Jumping rope . . .

1. Burns up to 1,000 calories per hour.
2. Tones your entire body – arms, legs, trunk, and back.
3. Is easy to learn (master’s degree in Pilates not required).
4. Improves your game, whether you golf, swim, ski, or play tennis.
5. Is totally cheap (ropes can start at $3.99) and portable (a 4-foot by 6-foot area is all you need).
6. Looks cool . . . check out those boxers at the gym who know what they’re doing.
7. Can be a solo or group workout.
8. Is gender neutral.
9. Is family friendly. Give your kids a rope, too!
10. Can be a blast. Make up some jump rope tricks, and have fun with it.

she got there an hr b4 our appt while i got there half an hr earlier

i went to south tower lobby while she went to north tower lobby at almost the same time

both of us discovered to our dismay tat our client wasn’t at ORQ

marie actualli spotted mi running off to the carpark but couldn’t stop mi in time

i was so quick, i was still within the grace period for parking and didn’t pay a cent

i had a hard time fumbling for my fone while i exited from the ORQ carpark but as fate would haf it, she spotted my car as i exited the carpark so she could quickly hop on & we made it in time

perspirex

18 10 2007

i got wat andy recommended for sweaty palms.  reading the website nw.
i will test out the prod tonite

it states surgery as one of the treatment methods for sweaty palms…sounds so serious…is tis a health condition?

Suffering from hyperhidrosis means having a perspiration problem. Excessive sweating can range from moderate moisture to severe dripping resulting in large wet stains on the shirt, blouse and jacket, damp and smelly feet and shoes, or it could be clammy or wet hands.

maternal mortality

17 10 2007

i saw the figures of maternal mortality as being more den 500,000 globally and i was quite shocked at the huge numbers

though most of these deaths from pregnancy and related reasons happen in developing countries, the sheer no. is quite scary

it is especially shocking for a mother

    blood donation

    17 10 2007

i saw a colleague’s sms abt her fren’s appeal for B+ platelets for the son

i last surfed the hsa blood bank website wif YY some time back when he asked some qns after watching a tv program tat touched on blood donations

i learnt so many interesting facts from the website :

    • can donate blood for own use, known as ABT (autologous blood transfusion)
    • apheresis is the donation of specific components of blood instead of whole blood
min weight of whole blood donor is 45kg but apheresis is 50kg
if i go on diet, can onli donate whole blood
    • plateletpheresis is to donate platelets
    • plasmapheresis is to donate plasma

check tis out, a graphical representation of the blood stock in singapore

i still haf tis nagging cough so i should wait it out before i attempt to gif blood again

LJ will rem my first failed attempt and her (is it first?) successful attempt @ NUH

    Thai Iced Tea

    2. Add two pieces of star anise (availabile in many grocery stores and most Asian markets) and a cinnamon stick to the pot.
    3. Allow the tea to cool.
    4. Pour over ice and add sweetened condensed milk to taste.

    carbon footprint

    16 10 2007

i’m been wanting to blog on tis topic for wks since i saw the ‘green’ stmt by the comp

it came after a lengthy discussion from employees all over the world on the company forum

i thot tis was pretty cool coz it means somebody actualli reads the forum and responds on a company level

ken was in town tdy and he mentioned tat tis was THE memo tat got him the most no. of responses from employees too

so a lot of us do care, we may not b doing quite enuff but being conscious is starting in a small way

wat is impt to b constantly challenging ourselves in doing more for the environ, coz we need to protect our legacy for our children and many more future generations of human ‘beans’

    What is a “Carbon Footprint”?
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly caused by a company’s operations. The impact is measured in tons of carbon dioxide equivalents.

    newly wed

    16 10 2007

joke from trace.  tis is a good one!

A newlywed couple had only been married for two weeks. The husband, although very much in love, couldn’t wait to go out on the town and party with his old buddies. So, he said to his new wife,‘Honey, I’ll be right back.’‘Where are you going, coochy cooh?’ asked the wife.‘I’m going to the bar, pretty face. I’ m going to have a beer.’

The wife said, ‘You want a beer, my love?’ She opened the door to the refrigerator and showed him 25 different kinds of beer,  brands from 12 different countries: Germany, Holland, Japan, India, etc.

The husband didn’t know what to do and the only thing that he could Think of saying was, ‘Yes, lolly pops…but at the bar…you know…they have frozen glasses…’

He didn’t get to finish the sentence, because the wife interrupted him by saying, ‘You want a frozen glass,! puppy face?’ She took a huge beer mug out of the freezer, so frozen that she was getting chills just holding it.

The husband, looking a bit pale, said, ‘Yes, tootsie roll, but at the bar they have those hors d’oeuvres that are really delicious… I won’t be long, I’ll be right back. I promise. OK?’

You want hors d’oeuvres, poochi pooh?’ She opened the oven and took out 5 dishes of different hors d’oeuvres: chicken wings, pigs in blankets, mushroom caps, pork strips, etc.

‘But my sweet honey… at the bar… you know… there are swearing, dirty words and all that…’

‘You want dirty words, D*ckhead? Drink your f*cking beer in your Goddamn frozen mug and eat your motherf*cking snacks, because you are Married now, and you aren’t f*cking going anywhere! Got it, A*shole?’

……..and, they lived happily ever after. Isn’t that a sweet story?

    13 10 2007

the bentley tea is more mint den tea

    i guess tat’s y it’s called minty mint

the other pack of mint tea i had from viet is black tea wif little mint balls inside the tea pack.  i call them mint balls coz they dissolves when i steep the tea wif hot water

in fact, they remind mi of mini moth balls…sounds gross, rite?  but it tastes ok.  tis one is more tea den mint

the viet lipton mint tea is not fantastic oso

i agree, twinnings, the organic mint from M&S and celestial seasonings r the better mint teas i found so far

    A380

    11 10 2007

saw an article abt an engine test for A380

of course i noe all the buzz from seats/beds being sold online for the virgin flight

it’s oredi delayed by 2 yrs due to the wiring prob and SQ will get the 1st A380 on mon for the virgin flight to sydney on 28th of tis mth

wat is reli interesting in the article is the info on the A380 tat i was totally ignorant of

    i onli noe it’s big!

well, it has 3 decks, one for cargo and 2 for passengers

no US carrier ordered the A380 but SFO’s International Terminal is the onli airport in US to haf made modifications/designed for A380.

there is a jet bridge that will allow passengers to enter and exit easily – one bridge for the third deck and one serving the two lower levels. This eliminates the need to climb stairs once onboard.

    russian boost to indonesia’s tourism

    11 10 2007

“To cater to their tastebuds, Russian restaurants – a rarity or even non-existent in the past – have began appearing in Bali, along with growing orders from food and beverage outlets for vodka, going by anecdotal accounts from the Bali travel industry.”

    article from BT

now i noe moscow is becoming a hot new destination for tourists and i would luv to go there too but i didn’t realise the outbound travel from russian is oso causing a stir in asia, especially indonesia

    newborns

    10 10 2007

the newborns look so cute and angelic, all curled up & sleeping

they look so cuddly!  now i noe wat ivy means by ‘long time no carry babies, miss the feeling sometimes’   i wana carry newborns!  luckily got 3 babies arriving soon tat i can hold…hehe

    misleading boards on highways

    10 10 2007

    they did it again!

the sign read ‘jam from eunos, jam to kallang’

i contemplated whether to exit before eunos & travel by geylang but i decided to take a gamble and stick to PIE in the end

guess wat?  not onli was there no jam, it was almost deserted at paya lebar exit which is a rare sight

the onli time the notices on highways r accurate r when roadworks r concerned

any other kinda traffic info has proven too dynamic for lta to update the notices on time even wif all the cameras installed along highways

the most reliable traffic news has to b from radios coz it’s ppl on the road who actualli call in & update them all the time

    shell points

    10 10 2007

mi juz checked my acct online.  got enuff pts to redeem a can of abalone for cny liao, so happy!

    aglio olio

    10 10 2007

tat’s the pasta of the moment for mi

it started wif the totally delicious one at oosh!   i usualli avoid tomato base coz my mum can cook better tomato paste at home.  i go for the cream sauce ones coz it seems harder to cook

but aglio olio can b so deliciously fragrant wif the hint of herbs and spice

however, i haben had any luck wif my subsequent orders

    barfly : way too spicy
genting : the basil was over-powering!
    wild bamboo : so-so

i tink besides the rite balance of herbs & spiciness, the olive oil needs to b good too to reli bring out the flavour of the pasta.  can’t wait to go oosh and eat my aglio olio again!

mi is up to date on yahoo mail again!

    10 10 2007

    things i hate abt driving

    10 10 2007

#1 on the list has to b having a full bladder by the time i reach the carpark.  unfortunately i dun haf the luxury of having open-air parking juz dwnstairs (yes, ann, i m toking abt u!)

so after parking, i still need to walk 2 blks back to my blk…so far!  and plus the stairway at the MSCP (read. Multi-Storey CarPark)  in fact, the bus-stop is nearer to my place den my carpark

and wat’s the pt of parking in a sheltered MSCP if i m home late??  coz the upper decks r uncovered!  i pay 90 bucks a mth to expose my car to the elements of nature, walk dwn and up steps to the 5th or 6th floor and end up driving a car tat has been sunbathing in the morn sun….sigh!

the onli ad of being MSCP trained is : shopping mall carparks pose little challenge to mi who is used to pathetic sized lots and numerous ramps

and i m aliwal st-trained for parallel parking.  practice makes perfect, no shortcuts to parking

next thing i hate abt driving is the sight of dead cats or watever is left of the cats’ carcasses on the highways

cats r so dumb!  they get run over ALL the time

every time  i spot a cat hit, my stomach does tis huge churning tat i imagine to b my intestines and stomach performing somersaults

to make matters worse, the remains dun get cleared so for the next few days, i haf to rem to change lanes before tat stretch of rd to avoid the grisly sight again
