realli long time no meet up tis senior of mine from ahs & tj.
since my niece was due for vaccination, decided to gif the polyclinic a try. first time tat i brought kids for vaccination there.
services is actualli quite good. the nurses are beli frenly & experienced.
dr felix tan is now the proud father of a 2 mth old baby ( oops, i duno if he has a daughter or son! )
but the first time he told mi when we sat down for lunch was, ‘actually no need to get a degree’
well, nobody guarantee tat getting a degree is going to get u far in life. tat’s the biggest scam / misillusion tat the govt had us believe in and our parents faithfully subscribe to tis belief.
y did the pursue of further education get linked directly to monetary rewards later in life??
tat is such a wrong mentality and ppl hoo believe it will get even more disillusioned when they find peers or ppl hoo r not as highly educated as them, doing better in life.
and there is nuthing wrong wif tat. it’s not unfair for ppl to succeed in life despite their educational or family background coz it is not an accidental result. it is definitely the result of hard work AFTER making the rite choice!
y do i say tat? ppl hoo struggle in life work hard too but often they make the wrong choice thus their efforts produce smaller results compared to others.
and after watching the secret dvd, i dun believe in luck anymore. ppl hoo r perceived to haf good luck r ppl hoo haf discovered the secret in a way. the law of attraction is so, so true.
i cannot stress enuff how lucky i m to be surrounded by supportive frens, colleagues & family thru the past couple of yrs of challenges in both work, family & r/ship.
tat’s the law of attraction in action. by believing tat i m blessed & haf all the luck and by being thankful for wat i haf, i get even more support & love.

i cannot describe fully how touched i m at getting hq’s email & having u gers there on 10th may. and karen hoo always haf dinner wif mi at short notices & always tink of mi. i drank some of the ginseng tea liao leh!
and paul for being wif mi when i cried all the way from liang seah st to aliwal st…even in my darkest hrs, i haf nbr been alone.
when i sat outside mac & cried alone on 18th jul, again, tat was my choice. i chose not to tell my frens. if i choose not to open up & allow them to love & support mi, den tat is exactly wat happens. i dun get the love & support from them.
see, things will always work out the way u want them to.
so when u tink things r not working out the way u would like them to work out, tink again. r u focusing too much on wat u dun want??

it even works in terms of avoiding parking tickets lor…hehe….mi parked at st john’s yest, totally saved on parking compared to parking at aliwal. yes, i’ve been told ‘im a rebel & i m. but i get away wif it…hahah…and i get lots at LFI 99% of the time…hehe…nuthing to do wif luck, my fren
i noe i can get away wif wat i do and tat’s y i get away wif it.
when i recall the many times when i parallel park outside LFI during the initial period of starting up, i realise tat i din even tink of the possibility of getting a ticket.
of course i noe tat i CAN get a ticket for it but it nbr crossed my mind tat TP will come & book mi lor.
and i dun put coupon even if LFI full & i haf to park at HDB. juz recycle my coupons from the day. tis trick always works!
and the first & onli time so far tat TP came, was the first time tat i DIDN’T park illegally.
YT will kill mi for saying tis but i m seriously tinking tat mayb becoz YT did illegal parking for the first time in her life. and she focus so much on the fear of getting a ticket tat things realli work out tat way.
tis seems the most logical explanation for tis incident and i realise tis after watching the secret dvd.
and ppl hoo noes mi noes tat i haf no respect for rules. rules r set by ppl. y b overly worried or concerned abt wat ppl say can do or cannot do?? it’s ur life. live it!
and i was blown away by how true the no U-turn theory & turn right on red theory is. singaporeans haf been brought up to b lawabidding workers.
our thots r the most powerful attraction tools in the universe. so use them wisely on things tat u want!!
if u want something hard enuff, ur actions will b geared towards achieving it & u will get wat u want coz external factors will move in ur favour as they’re attracted by ur thots.
conversely if u dwell on wat u dun want,
and doing well in life is not confined to earning lotsa $$.
it has to go beyond tat to having good health and time to do wat u wana do. it’s abt having the luxury of the freedom of choice! i was going to say tat unfortunately i m not as lucky as to haf as much time to do wat i want as i would like.
den i realise how wrong i m. EVERYONE has the SAME amt of time. EVERYONE HAS 24 HRS A DAY. i tink health, wealth & time are the most impt things in life. and time is one area tat everyone starts on the same note. juz tat if you dun haf the pre-requisites of health & wealth, den u r restricted to wat u can do wif ur 24 hrs.
it all boils dwn to a matter of choice. i feel tat i m so…so bz. yet tis is my choice. i can choose to go hm earli everyday & be contented wif my current level of lifestyle. or i can continue in my quest to pursue my dreams. at least i dare to dream but tat is not enuff. if u dun put thots into actions, it’s juz daydreaming.
to everyone hoo tells mi they haf no time, it’s not true. we all haf the same amt of time. it’s juz a matter of choice how u wana spend the time.
